The Village of Lions Bay
The Village of Lions Bay is located in the northwest corner of the Greater Vancouver Regional District, it has a population of 1349 (2001 census) making it one of the smallest municipalities in British Columbia.

The local community hall does provide some activities and there are
including a play school association providing pre-school for 3-5 year olds.
There is a community school for Kindergarten - Grade 3 in the Village and the full education system is managed by
School District #45 .
There is also a limited public transportation bus service which is provided by Translink.
